Our mission is to help members of our community become durable, adaptable, and capable human beings. To realize that exercise is more than muscle gain or weight loss, but a lifelong wellness journey of strength, performance and movement longevity.

philosophy

The get-up, also known as the Turkish get-up, is a feat performed by old-time strongmen that displays tremendous strength and stability by getting up from a laid down position to standing all while holding a heavy weight overhead. In order to move fluidly and safely in the get-up, the body must have the capacity to move well and carry load at the same time. Strength, mobility, stability, balance, and coordination all come into play and this athletic feat cannot be done without good foundation.

Our motto "Strong from the ground up" is inspired by the exercise where we must build and rise from a solid base. In training there are no shortcuts but to only stay grounded in fundamental training principles and build ourselves up through discipline, patience and diligence.

Our approach is based on scientific principles and the tools and methods are chosen based on purposeful programming for every individual's goals.
